I am taking it easy this weekend. Last weekend was a 4 day bender in 2 days. HA! But, I do have one show that I'll be going to. I'll be seeing THE FORGOTTEN at Thee Parkside this Sunday, February 1st. THE FORGOTTEN is a San Jose/Campbell, CA Punk Rock band that was formed back in 1997. A couple of months after they formed, TKO Records heard how rad they were and threw them on the label (#2 to be exact). Ever since then, they've toured countlessly around the US, Canada, Europe and even have gone to Japan (I hear they're big in Japan). These boys have seen fads and copy bands alike come and go and they've kept running them over and over and over....With a full complete circle, THE FORGOTTEN are back with TKO, out with a new album and once again going forward at full-speed. Gordy will in the studio with me tomorrow at 6PM (PST) on KSCU. The band hasn't been on my show in a while so we have a lot of shit to talk about and catch up on. Tune in tomorrow at 6PM (PST) either on the airwaves at 103.3FM in the South Bay Area of San Francisco or streaming online at WWW.KSCU.ORG! See you then...

I'm still doing radio at PIRATE CAT RADIO here in the Mission District of San Francisco. This year, i'm going to try to get more interviews and bands to play live in the cafe. Oh yeah, the station is also a cafe. While you're sipping on your Italian soda, coffee, hot tea, enjoying FREE internet or whatever, you can see me, the interviewers, the interviewees, the bands and the other DJ's doing what we do best... and that's spinning records and talking shit. Woooooo!!!! My show is still every Tuesday 4to6PM (PST). We broadcast at 87.9FM in San Francisco, Los Angeles and 104.8 in Berlin, Germany. We also stream online at WWW.PIRATECATRADIO.COM. Yesterday I had the pleasure of a cool musican play in-studio by the name of JEFFREY LUCK LUCAS. He use to be in the 80's Garage Rock band, THE MORLOCKS. His music fuckin sad and will hurt you inside. Take a listen to the podcast link I provided for you in the next sentence for yesterday's and you tell me if you don't feel like drinking. Check him out on his profile at You can even listen to six weeks worth of podcasts at Let me know if you have bands coming through and I'll see about putting them on.

And of course, THE THRASH ATTACK is still every Thursday 4to7PM (PST) at KSCU 103.3FM in the South Bay or streaming online at WWW.KSCU.ORG. I still spin the BEST in: METAL, HARDCORE, THRASH, GRIND, DEATH, STONER, DOOM, SLUDGE, PUNK, ROCKNROLL, GARAGE, NOISE ROCK, POST-WHATEVER, COUNTRY, INDUSTRIAL, ELECTRONIC and whatever else i want. As of now, I don't have any podcasts but, I'm learning to record my show on Mac and hopefully I'll have some soon.

Thanks everybody for everything. Keep sending me new music and keep spreading the word about KSCU, PCR and me, Naked Rob to your friends, family, promoters, bookers and the rest of the world. Take care, have a good weekend and if you live in the Midwest or the Eastcoast, stay warm. CHEERS!
